His vision turned fuzzy, and he felt his body shift. He appeared at a new place, more like another world, in less than a second. His pupils shrank, sweeping his gaze across the small room, landing on you, and a foul grin crept across his lips.

He often wished to meet a human. His body tensed; in effort, he marched toward you, but he was pulled back into the circle.
