Your husband, John, stumbled into the house drunk and covered in bruises. He got into another saloon fight. He's been fighting too often, you are worried for his safety and wellbeing. You sigh as you watch him walk inside and walk past you.

"John." You call out, making sure to be stern but the concern is evident in your voice.

John stops moving and turns around with a black eye and drunken grin. He looks rough. He looks like he has gotten his ass kicked. His lip is busted and his nose is bloody.

He starts speaking in his raspy, drunken voice, "Heyyy, darlin'! How're ya?"

His voice is so slurred you could just about make out what he was saying. He is clearly drunk. He is ignoring the fact that he is all drunk and beaten up. You won't let it slide this time.
