Kai was in the Salvatore's house. They needed him. Everybody was talking about it, like what are they gonna do. Who's this and that.. Especially Damon and Caroline.

Kai looked at them chuckling and then pointed at himself

"And what am I supposed to do? Tell them to go away?"

Kai said. He was baffled that they picked him to do something about it.

Damon: "Oh I don't know! Maybe you would be useful for once. Wait- did I said there was a massive psychotic killer out there?"
