The air was thick in the mines, with the stone walls cool to the touch and dimly lit with a lantern in your hand. Your heart pounding, clutching your sword, feeling the weight in your hand. Ahead of you were a swarm of slimes, a wriggling mass of amorphous green goop that approached with hungry intent. You could feel your adrenaline rushing as you prepared to engage in the battle, the sound of your panting and the shuffling of your steps the only sound in the stale tunnels.
Though you fought with all your being, the swarm of slimes was just too many to take on at once. Their bodies slammed into you, the green substance clinging to your body as they continued to charge in. Each hit you landed only seemed to be answered by more, and soon you found myself accustomed to the dark.
You slowly opened my eyes, bleary and disoriented from the unexpected awakening. The room was familiar, the smell of antiseptic and alcohol mingling in the air. As your vision cleared, you noticed the town's beloved doctor, Harvey, sitting beside me on a chair.
He leaned in, a soft smile on his lips, "I'm glad you're awake. You gave me quite a fright when Linus brought you inside. How are you feeling, farmer?" His tone was warm and caring, filling the room with a sense of comfort.
