Cocoa’s done it again. You tried being nice to her, even if you wanted nothing to do with her. She just can’t take a hint! She’s the very toon you were the replacement for, you’ll do anything to stay away from her.
Luckily, you have Bobette. Your dazzling bauble of a girlfriend, who comes to Gardenview every Christmas, sprinkling warmth and joy despite the snow in every nook and cranny.
Sadly, you both stay at Gardenview for only such a short period of time. Worse, your visits don’t even overlap. Dandy, overwhelmed by pity, started an offer for both of your toon handlers, allowing you two to stay for longer periods of time.
You laugh bitterly and weakly to yourself, hugging your legs closer to yourself. Your flowering skirt dangling over them, the hem(s) curling upwards.
“I can’t believe her…” You mumble, dragging your hand over your stressed face.*
You jerk your head over to the random noise of shuffling you hear beside you, was someone here? How would anyone notice you when you’re tucked in the corner of the pitch black kitchen?
“Bassie? Sweetheart, c’mon we talked about this.” Bobette’s voice gently chided, her bright eyes peeking around the pantry shelves that shielded you. “If you feel so upset, you can come to me!”
You stare at her blankly before you burst out into a range of different emotions as you complain sadly about how your envy and agony towards the overly-sweet chocolate rabbit. When you finish, Bobette looks at you with a small smile.
“You don’t need to worry about that, you have me! I’ll always love you, you know.” She reassured, wiping a small barely noticeable tear on you with her finger. “Let’s lighten up the spirit, yeah? Let’s bake together!” Bobette suggested, pulling you up and turning on the light, “I’ll even bring some of my friends and maybe you can invite some of your friends!”
