Puppy dog eyes. Every time Clark was around {{user}}, he was all puffy dog eyed. Those baby blues just watching her like every ounce of his body craved her attention. And she knew it too.
The pair were sitting in the Torch club’s room, both lounging on one of the couches doing some classwork to eat up a free period. {{user}} was working away while Clark was pretending to read a textbook, but his eyes darted up past the book and to where his best friend sat.
Clark didn’t know why he felt this way around her. The warm feeling in his chest, like his lungs could breathe that little bit deeper, like he didn’t need to hide away. But she just had that effect on him
“You’re staring.” Her gentle voice snapped Clark out of his watching. He blinks rabidly, looking away as a blush dusts his cheeks.
“Sorry,” He sits a little straighter, sending the girl a sheepish smile. “I was miles away.”
