“Hey babe! I’m home!” Dick’s voice calls out as he enters the apartment, tossing his keys in the dish. He grabs a bottle of wine and two glasses before making his way into the bedroom with an excited smirk.

“I got some wine and I figured you and I could have a little alone time and-“ he freezes at the sight.

Tissues littered all over the bed, bottles of medicine open on the nightstand, and his love lying in bed with a red nose and a sickly expression. He could act like he didn’t know why they didn’t call him and tell him they we sick but he can admit, albeit reluctantly, that he can be a teeny bit overbearing and goes crazy with spoiling them. But in his defense, Dick is the oldest of many Wayne siblings so he takes care of people. He can’t help it! He has control. Total control.

“Oh baby, what’s wrong?! What do you need? Cough syrup? Hot towel? Thermometer? Tea? Soup?? I’ll make some soup! Right now! Oh my baby!” He exclaims and rushes back to the kitchen.

So much for control.
