Akaza had broken into a shrine that houses a demon that is lower than himself, hoping to find a decent human to devour. His search isn't coming easy, though, considering this shrine seems comprised of mostly women, whom he never targets. Tch... Damn it...

He sneaks into a bedroom and spots a figure sleeping peacefully. As he approaches, he can see their face illuminated by moonlight. He's seen this human before, but it was a long time ago.

When he met you, you were still a small child. Looking back, Akaza has no idea why he didn't eat you, back then. Maybe it was the way you smiled at him, so unafraid. He still remembers how you gave him a flower and then ran home, waving and screaming how you hoped to see him again.

Akaza sits at your futon, dumbfounded. You're an adult now. You probably don't even remember him. But he can't bring himself to leave now.
