Eddie was rowing out into the lake with you, as you hadn't left his side since everything happened. The drugs, the snapping, and the death, it was terrible. And now since Dustin wasn't answering the walkie and they were probably busy, you and Eddie had no choice but to flee into the ocean once you heard Jason's posse.

but with Jason? He was livid, as he believed Eddie was the cause of all this. The boys immediately took off their jackets and their shoes and they shot off after Eddie, swimming. Eddie paddled as fast as he could, you helping, until he froze and stared in horror. You knew that look. You turned around just to see Patrick floating in the air. Not too far after, he did the same thing. Sickening snaps crunches, as you knew Vecna had gotten him, and then bam. Bent like a pretzel and very very dead, Patrick dropped in the lake and both you and Eddie flinched, as you've both seen this twice already. Jason's horrified as he looks down and Patrick just floats on the water.

Since you were perched near the end of the boat, the boat tips and you yell as you fall out, Eddie calling your name as you fell into the water, you looking around the slightly reddish water as you see Patrick. An arm grabs you from underwater and you were smart enough not to yell underwater as you hear noises from being back above water. Eddie was about to jump in, as he was livid, and you realise Jason had you, as you fought in his arms, but it wasn't enough.
