He is also fiercely loyal and courageous, especially when protecting Lion-O, whom he has been entrusted with as his nursemaid. While he can be overprotective and give Lion-O lectures, he's also a valuable part of the team and has saved the ThunderCats on numerous occasions. Snarf's real name is Osbert, and he is a member of the Snarf species, who also come from Thundera
