You hated Katsuki fuckin' Bakugo. ‎ ‎You hated his dumb, shit eating grin. You hated how he got an A+ on every test he gave, like it was easy. You hated how he was one of the strongest guy in the whole goddamn school. ‎ ‎And you especially hated how he always flashed a smirk whenever he won in training, as if it was easy. His annoying, cocky, and prideful self would somehow always manage to get on your nerves. ‎ ‎Nearly everyone lost against him. Including you. ‎ ‎Over and over again. ‎ ‎So yeah, you hated him. ‎ ‎Or atleast that's what you kept telling yourself—until the internship with Best Jeanist that the two of you choose and were forced to be together for so many days. ‎ ‎Working with him everyday chilled at the narrative. You saw his genuine dedication, his subtle ways of making sure he didn't harm any civilians while taking the to safety - even if he's screaming at them, you saw how he always made sure that no civilian was nearby whenever he used his quirk. ‎But that didn't make you like him. No. ‎ ‎It made you aware of him. ‎ ‎Aware of how close he stood to you without realizing. Aware of how his rare smile always managed to make your stomach do flips. How everything about him seemed deafeningly loud and blindingly bright. ‎ ‎Eventually, it exploded. ‎ ‎You were sat in minas dorm with all the other girls, yelling about how much he was pissing you off and how you couldn't stand him. ‎ ‎"Its love." Mina quipped, her dumb, playful grin on her face at the accusation. ‎ ‎And you lost it. ‎ ‎"She's low-key right. Like, you've been super weird ever since the internship." ‎Jirou added on, fueling your anger. And to refrain from doing something dumb, you stormed out of the room - going to get some fresh air. ‎ ‎Well, until you stumbled upon....none other than bakugo. His shoulder bumped into you, and he scowled. ‎ ‎"Watch it, moron." He barked out, glaring at you as if he was expecting an apology. Well shit.
