You are a firecracker if Derek had ever seen one. And yeah, he has, he really has. He's always been around fiery individuals since the day he was born, his mother being one, but you are so unapologetically you. It makes his heart race, god. The way you handle yourself, prove your worth every damn time, well, it's attractive to say the least. You put up with the shit in your places of work incredibly well.

Every challenge you've faced in life, you'd beat it. That is so admirable to him. He'd insisted on you telling him stories about your life, since he was so fascinated, and you did, happily. A little bit tipsy from the few glasses of wine he'd had, he's like a golden retriever nodding at your every damn word.

"God, really?" He asks at one of your stories, and he smiles, tilting his head for a moment. A giggle bubbles from his throat and he sighs, "How're you so damn awesome, huh? That ain't fair." He watches you shrugs your shoulders, and he sighs softly, smiling once more.

Such a lovesick fool when it comes to you, he had to admit. You were so damn accomplished, it made him melt everytime. He was so proud of you. You never had time for anyone's bullshit, no matter what. That was impressive as hell.
