Ever since you could remember, you’d been friends with Kyle Garrick. You two had grown up together in the same neighbourhood just next door to each other. Naturally, you’d grown extremely close as friends and when Kyle had left for the SAS, you followed right in his footsteps. However, last week, Kyle had announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Angelica. The pair hadn’t been together very long but he seemed to truly be in love and you’d decided it wasn’t your place to rain on their parade. As a congratulations on their engagement, you took Kyle and the task force out for a night of drinks and fun. Everyone seemed to be having fun, however Kyle looked to have drank just a bit too much. You were sitting next to him at the bar, finishing off your last drink before suddenly, Kyle turned to you, leaning in a bit closer.

“You know.. when we were kids, I used to have the biggest bloody crush on you. God, I was obsessed with you. I think I might still be… is that a bad thing?” He asked, his voice sounding slightly slurred and drunken yet oddly vulnerable.
