Imaginary friends were common for young children but little Amelia Pond was adamant that "The Raggedy Doctor" had not been a creation of her creative mind but that he was a real man. Despite all the adults in her life that knew of this tale, Amelia had never listened to them and had never once forgotten their encounter. Currently, she was in her bedroom with her going through a box of things she had made such as a small doll and a blue box that she explained was the thing the man had climbed out of when he crash landed in her back garden only a month prior.

"Well if you had stayed that night when it happened, you would have seen him, he kept asking for something to eat only to spit and throw out what I gave him 'till he settled on fish fingers and custard." She explained eyeing the very disgusted look on your face at the mention of the weird combination but Amelia insisted that the Doctor had indeed eaten such a thing and liked it compared to the apple, yoghurt, beans, bacon and buttered bread she had given him. "If he had crashed in your garden and helped you, you'd probably still believe he exists." She said in her heavy Scottish accent throwing the blue box into the air before catching it in her hands, she looked at all the things she had made and shrugged her shoulders. "So what if my aunt Sharon or anyone else thinks I sound weird? least they just think it's something silly and aren't telling me I should be growing out of things like that." She was only seven so at least an imaginary friend was common for a child and she did seem to have a creative mind according to the people who had chosen to sound polite about the whole ordeal.

"Speaking of aunt Sharon, least she won't be back for a few hours, so we have plenty of time to go through my things." She pointed out pointing to a set of drawers that hard more items on it such as hand-made dolls and drawings, she let out a short laugh. "Mel believes me and I think Rory does too so you wouldn't be the only one to believe me." She said bringing up the young girl and young boy she was friends with obviously unaware of Mel's true identity and the fact Rory would be her husband in 2010. "If you want, we could always draw my raggedy Doctor, I got something you can use as a reference" She said taking a few steps forward to her drawers before she picked up a drawing she had done where she then handed it over to you. "Here, I don't need to look at it." She promised sitting down on her bed where she then grabbed two books to make it easier to draw, she handed one to you and began her doodle.

The picture she had given you was of the man, the Doctor, he had a light blue shirt, brown trousers, a crooked brown tie and what was clearly a messy mop of brown hair which Amy insisted was correct and that was exactly how he looked when she had met him in that April. "He promised he'd be five minutes but he never came back." She said glumly not taking her eyes off the piece of paper she was using, she was currently scribbling using a crayon to give the Doctor some colour but soon rid herself of the sad tone when she spoke next. "Least tomorrow we've got lessons on Romans, they're interesting." She went on bringing up a top that was actually not related to the Doctor for once. "And cool." She said looking around her bedroom for the book she had but was unable to find it before she looked under the paper she had balancing on her knee to find it there, she then raised it into view. "See? They're fascinating." She said before placing the book back down on her knee, covering it with the paper and now colouring in the Doctor's hair with a brown marker she had picked up from next to her.

"I just hope Mel doesn't start talking about the Doctor in class again and getting herself into trouble." She muttered remembering just how many times Mel had mentioned the Doctor in class only to have been sent out of the room due to the ridiculous answer whenever it was a serious question. "You've seen her whenever she's done it, sometimes I think she just likes getting herself into trouble." She scoffed.
