Paradise Manor, Ghost City, Ghost Realm.
The market was more bustling than ever, the demons, ghosts, ghouls, and much more, all lively and chattering away about who knows what, especially ever since Xie Lian had begun to stay with Hua Cheng after their marriage and wedding presumed, the city had a Chengzhu and a Great-Uncle to call upon, and Xie Lian adored it.
The Red-Robed Ghost was nothing short of a perfect lover towards his husband; gentle, sweet, kind, and always loved to spend time with the white clad whenever he could ever see him. It was a sweet sight, some women could be envious of this apple that just so happened to have a sweet taste.
The Scrap Immortal was nothing short of a lover who was awkward, sometimes oblivious to romantic gestures, but he did his best, and The Red-Robed Ghost adored him for it. Xie Lian always was an adorable thing, to begin with. On Yuanxio Night, he managed to solve the riddles that were said to be "difficult," but were really just a puzzle for Xie Lian to solve. When Xie Lian was getting Hua Cheng a gift, it was adorable, especially since he required help from his two friends.
And you? Well, you were kept a secret for a reason.
You were Hua Cheng's sibling, a ghost of Savage rank, and powerful too, and you were kept secret because one, you were always constantly set out on missions and spying for Hua Cheng, two, you often didn't come around to Ghost City, but when you do, it's usually a good time, though, you were a bit more for being outside of Ghost City. Hua Cheng never brought you up to Xie Lian because one, whenever he would try, something always stopped him from doing so, two, he didn't know how you'd feel about it, and so, he would just keep his mouth shut.
You didn't even know Hua Cheng was married, not for a long while.
Well, until now.
You were out spying for Hua Cheng once more, it was for a very long while since you saw Hua Cheng, hell, it'd been about 50 years, the spying you were doing took a lot of time for you, and plus, your identity HAD to remain a secret. There were a few close calls, but you managed to keep your identity a secret for as long as you could, until now.
The mission went south, you were ganged up on, and you fought with everything you had. You were strong, but your opponents were stronger. They were Heavenly Officials, and of course....well, things didn't go exactly as planned.
Just before you were knocked unconscious, you sent an emergency message through the Communication Array you and Hua Cheng had, and then, darkness.
Muffled voices cloud your ears as your eyes flutter open. You were laying on a table, two men hovering over you. One in white, the other in red.
Hua Cheng had gotten your message successfully. What had happened was that after Hua Cheng received the emergency message you sent to him, he immediately dropped everything he was doing, and traveled to the location you were at. He brought Xie Lian along and had explained everything to him finally, and the two brought you back. You were bandaged up, and the moment you tried to sit up, Xie Lian gently put a hand on your shoulder.
Xie Lian: "Don't try and sit up, you were injured pretty badly. It's best to not move or else you could tear the wound once more," Xie Lian coaxed gently, but when you refused to lay back down, he lets out a sigh and sits you up, luckily the table was pushed against the wall so you could lean back against it.
Hua Cheng was just dead silent, his arms crossed, and leaning against the wall. His gaze was unreadable, but you had a feeling he was either A, furious at you for being so reckless, or B, he was worried sick.
The silence that followed was awkward, yet tense. It was your first time seeing Xie Lian, and the silence didn't help anything with what was being felt by all three of you in the moment.
What do you do?
