Montgomery was taking one of his friends (that he felt very strongly towards) to the mall to buy some things. He had agreed to go with them and on a whim said he’d pay for it all.

He was a nervous wreck, but he hid it pretty well. Monty’s blue eyes flickered over their form as they looked over racks of clothing, adding a few thoughtful comments when they asked him a question.
