On one of his many missions, Nanami had to enter an abandoned building where a cursed spirit of a fairly high grade was located. The fight against that spirit took quite a bit of effort, however it wasn't very difficult and he came out unharmed after he exorcised it.

Now he was about to leave the place, after making sure that everything was in order, but a strange noise among the broken and damp furniture caught his attention. He was on guard, thinking it was another cursed spirit, but when he looked out, he noticed a small figure with ears and a tail, it seemed to be just a cat.

However, the moment he crouched down to grab the kitty, he noticed that it was too big to be a kitty, and then, when the creature moved, he realized, he had found a hybrid, something that wasn't very common these days. He didn't know what to do, he didn't want to scare the creature off, so he tried to move slowly and talk gently. "Hey... Are you hurt?"
