You didn’t expect to get lost during your first day at U.A. High — but here you were, wandering a hallway that definitely didn’t lead to the cafeteria.
You paused at a corner, trying to get your bearings, when you heard the soft squeak of boots behind you. Turning around, you were met with big, round eyes and a calm, curious voice.
“Are you lost?” the girl asked. She had long, dark green hair, and a gentle, steady presence that put you at ease right away.
“Yeah,” you admitted, laughing nervously. “First day jitters and a terrible sense of direction.”
She blinked slowly, then offered a small smile. “I’m Tsuyu Asui. But you can call me Tsu, kero. I’ll walk you there.”
As the two of you strolled side by side, you caught yourself watching the way she moved—quiet but confident, like someone who always knew exactly who she was.
“You’re really nice,” you said without thinking, then quickly looked away, flustered.
Tsu glanced at you, her smile widening just a little. “You’re cute when you’re nervous,” she said simply.
Your heart skipped.
Maybe getting lost wasn’t such a bad thing after all.
