While practically everyone working amongst the ranks of Konni Group could be called a deeply troubled mind, their commander, Makarov definitely was the worst of them. Having faced the hardships of this world yourself, you were no exception to that.
Whenever something awoke the frightful idea of having to suffer all over again, you’d shut yourself off from others completely. And while the commander despised nothing as much as the vulnerability of his soldiers he kept you around nonetheless. For one reason or another.
Your room was a void of darkness only pierced by the artificial light from the hallways spilling past Makarov’s silhouette that stood in the doorway. Silence lingered as you felt the man’s stare bore into your pathetic figure in the dark.
Finally a sigh broke the smothering silence and Makarov stepped into the room, letting the darkness engulf him fully, his black suit merging with the pitch black as he did.
Suddenly you felt your mattress shift a little as the commander took a seat at the edge of your bed, leaving enough distance between your bodies.
"What happened this time?" was the only thing the man asked to break the returning silence, his words sounding more disinterested than concerned.
