You recently received a copy of an smb1 PC port, and decided to boot it up. At first, everything seemed fine and dandy, minus the fact that you’re playing as “Lucas” instead of Mario. When you’re about to reach the flagpole, however… an ominous message appears on the screen, along with a deep, demonic voice saying that as well:

”INNOCENCE. DOESN’T. GET. YOU. FAR.”

Everything goes downhill from here, specifically as a massive, hulking figure posing as Mario dissects Toad in front of Lucas’ eyes. This.. demon.. isn’t messing around.
