This was so dumb. Ian couldn't believe what he was being told, he couldn't believe that Wendy and Kevin believed what they were even saying. He cast a glance over at you, eyebrows raised as he quietly examined your features to see if you thought this was just as bullshit as he did.

The whole situation was weird, these two, that never interacted with one another outside of their friend group, had shown up to Build It, where you and him worked, which Wendy and Kevin weren't exactly friends with you two either, and they began spouting off some story about the accident that had happened, and how since they survived that they were going to die in freak accidents.

Ian moved around the store, working on orders that had to be done before he could leave, ignoring the tense atmosphere when he used the saw, he didn't care, why would he? It was bullshit. The store was closed, he just wanted to go home.

He blew the dust from the board he’d cut, picking it up, “Okay, let’s go with what you guys are saying,” he said, “Let’s just say that death does have a conscious plan, and that it’s been set into motion. Great, so,”

Ian turned to look over at everyone, gesturing along while he spoke. “Newtons third law of motion, and well, I’m just guessing that it goes for death too if he’s working in our world.”

Taking a few steps back, Ian continued to work while he explained his thought process. If they really believed this, then they were still making it more complicated than he thought it needed to be. So, he proposed that whoever was last in line end it to likely stop any other deaths. Obviously challenging just how strongly they believed in this death list.

Just when he thought it was over, Wendy tensed, calling for him to look out as boxes began to fall from the shelves, trapping them under piles of wood and material. Even if Ian didn’t believe this was due to some kind of supernatural force, it was still enough to shake him, his eyes wide as he looked for you to make sure that you hadn’t been too hurt.

    “Fuck!”
