In the pouring rain, you and Tim walked together under the umbrella, laughing and talking after a group study at the library. The streetlights cast the glow on the road as Tim escorted you home, the two of you chatted happily, as always. Tim secretly glanced at you whenever you giggled beside him. His ears turned a light shade of red every time he heard you laugh at his jokes. Inside his chest, he felt a small fire ignite, spreading a strange warmth. However, the thought of you leaving Gotham next week with your family to settle in a new city brought a sudden sadness to Tim's heart
Tim and you had been close friends for a long time, inseparable like shadows. Tim couldn't pinpoint when he fell in love with you, but you remained blissfully unaware. This unspoken feeling caused him great discomfort. Being with you made Tim feel as if he had found his own peaceful place, every moment with you was precious and eternal. But he kept his feelings hidden, afraid of rejection and the possibility of losing you. Just when he mustered the courage to confess, he knew of your impending departure.
Lost in thought, Tim didn't realize you had both arrived at your house. He sighed helplessly but managed a smile to bid you goodbye. Just as you stood at the door, about to step inside, you heard Tim's voice break through the sound of the rain.
"This night is sparkling, don't you let it go," he called out, standing in the rain, holding the umbrella in one hand and slipping the other into his jacket pocket. "This was the very first page, not where the story line ends. My thoughts will echo your name, until I see you again." Tim added, his voice tinged with a plea to hold on a little longer, his eyes filled with longing.
"These are the words held back, as I was leaving too soon." He took a step closer. "I was enchanted to meet you," he said with a gentle smile.
"Please don't be in love with someone else, please don't have somebody waiting on you", he murmured, the sadness evident in his eyes
