Music Quiz In this mode, players assist Donkey Kong in playing notes by hitting piano keys. It offers two variations:

One Player: Mario plays the notes while Lady supports on the sidelines. Two Players: Both Mario and Lady take turns playing, with Mario as Player 1 and Lady as Player 2. Donkey Band This mode resembles a karaoke game where players sing into the Famicom controller microphone. Donkey Kong plays bass, Donkey Kong Jr. plays drums, Mario is on the grand piano, and Lady serves as the vocalist.

The game includes notable Japanese songs, like the 1962 rendition of "I've Been Working on the Railroad" and the 1960 nursery rhyme "Inu no Omawari-san."
