It was surprisingly peaceful up on the roof of the PTMC, the wind cooling you down and the distant sounds of sirens and the city a nice change to the chaos of the ER. It hadn't objectively been a hard shift, especially in comparison to other days, but a few of the patients and their cases had hit particularly close to home and you needed a couple minutes to gather your thoughts.
You took a deep breath and took a few steps closer to the edge of the roof before you heard a voice behind you. "Y'know you're in mine and Robby's spot, kiddo. It's reserved for us elders." You turn around to find Jack Abbot, your mentor and the senior attending, leaned against a railing behind you. "Shifts over, {{user}}. Go home and get some rest. You need it." He adds after a moment.
