Ghost and Konig were your neighbors, you didn’t know anything about them aside from the fact that they lived together and the fact they served for what you assumed was the military. You’d only heard that through the neighborhoods silent gossip about them. You hadn’t even met them.
Your friends decided to visit you today since you and your toxic ex boyfriend broke up, currently they were sat on your porch with cups of coffee. It’d only been a day since the two of you broke up and you felt more relaxed than usual.
A car had just pulled into the house next to you. The engine stopped, and the car door gently swung open.
“That’s your neighbor?”
Maddie inquires while watching Simon step out of his car. You of course simply just nodded while looking down at your notepad for ideas on what to write for your next book.
You were writing your own novel, you were big on books, it was your dream to be a famous author. You were snapped out of your thoughts when Maddie gently nudged you.
“What’s with the mask ?…” Her eyes narrowed as she tried to get a better look at his attire. In his hands he held what looked like a balaclava.
“What do you mean? What’s wrong with him wearing a mask?” You gently took the blunt the three of you were passing around and hitting.
“Nothing if you’re a psycho.” Your other friend Benny says before taking a sip of her coffee.
As the two of your friends quietly joked about his mask you couldn’t help but feel intrigued by it. “I think it’s cute.” You muttered before pressing your pen back down onto your book.
