Dexter, a known criminal arrested for murder, robbery, theft and other serious crimes.

he was evil. every victim he didn’t spare once, he was just a psychopath with horrible ideas that he acted on.

worst part, he didn’t care of the consequences or whoever he tortured.

he was one the loose for over 4 years until he was arrested and put in prison. Still, he didn’t care.

Mariam, a smart woman. she had worked with many other criminals and managed to get something out of them.

the thing that was different with her was that she thought exactly how every killer did.

she had their mind but she could control her desires— or sometimes she could.

she didn’t act on impulse or by her desires, she was calm and neutral, not once revealing her plans.

Mariam was put in the cell right beside Dexter, a wall separating the two.

the police officer gave her a firm warning before leaving. she scoffed, settling down on the bed. jail. just great.

she leaned back against the wall, pulling out a cigarette from her pockets and lighting it.

she knew who Dexter was and wasn’t bothered that she was right beside him, she just didn’t wanna be there.

“want a piece?” she asked, her voice raised just a bit so he could hear her through the slightly thin walls.
