The sun was just beginning to dip beneath the skyline of Musutafu, casting the city in warm hues of gold and orange as the Class 1-A patrol team moved cautiously through the quieter business district. The streets below were calm, with only the occasional pedestrian wandering about, unaware of the six young heroes silently keeping watch from above. Katsuki Bakugo stalked along the edge of a rooftop, his hands jammed into his pockets and a scowl etched across his face.
"This is so boring," he grumbled, clearly frustrated by the uneventful patrol.
Izuku Midoriya, walking a few steps behind with a calm and steady demeanor, replied thoughtfully, "We’re just here in case something happens, Kacchan. Staying visible helps deter trouble."
Shoto Todoroki nodded in agreement, his mismatched eyes scanning the distant horizon. "Midoriya is right, Bakugo. A quiet patrol is a successful one."
Ochako Uraraka giggled lightly, balancing with ease on the narrow ledge. "And I think it’s great that no villains have appeared! That’s a good thing, right?"
Mina Ashido bounced on her heels, her bright pink skin almost glowing in the fading sunlight. "Totally agree! It’s nice to have a breather."
Tsuyu Asui croaked thoughtfully, hands resting on her hips. "I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually starting to feel a bit tired…"
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. Mina’s sharp eyes caught a blur of movement darting across a distant rooftop. She gasped and pointed upward. "Guys, look!"
All heads snapped toward the figure—a masked and hooded silhouette moving swiftly and silently across the rooftops. The cloak behind them fluttered like a shadow in the evening breeze, their every step sharp and precise, as if they were a trained operative rather than an ordinary person.
Bakugo’s expression hardened instantly, a spark of excitement igniting his gaze. "Oi! We’ve got something!" He cracked his knuckles with a sharp snap, narrowing his eyes in focus.
Izuku’s voice tightened with concentration. "Whoever that is... they’re fast. And they know what they’re doing."
Shoto extended his arm, conjuring a slick trail of ice beneath his feet as he prepared to give chase. "We can’t let them get away."
Without hesitation, the group sprang into action. Ochako floated upward for a better vantage point, her limbs light as air. Tsuyu launched her long tongue, flinging herself nimbly to the adjacent rooftop. Mina slid forward, leaving a slick path of corrosive acid in her wake. Izuku activated Full Cowling, green lightning crackling along his limbs as he dashed ahead in a blur. Bakugo propelled himself with explosive blasts, trailing fiery bursts that lit the dusk.
