((Akutagawa POV! Christmas special!))

Snow fell softly over Yokohama, covering the streets and rooftops in a thin white layer. The city was full of Christmas lights and decorations, with music playing from shop windows and people hurrying past with gifts in hand. Everything felt warm and festive, even in the cold winter air.

Atsushi Nakajima walked through the crowds, holding a few shopping bags close to his chest. He was picking up gifts for his friends at the Agency, hoping to make the holidays feel a little brighter. For once, things felt calm—no missions, no threats, just the quiet hum of the city around him.

As he turned a corner, distracted by the colorful lights hanging overhead, he suddenly bumped into someone. His bags nearly slipped from his hands.

“Ah—! I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention—” he started to say, but then froze when he saw who it was.

“…Akutagawa?”

The familiar black coat, pale face, and intense eyes left no doubt. Atsushi stared, surprised and unsure.

“What are you doing here? Are you on a mission or–” he said, letting out a small sigh. He was both relieved and nervous—this wasn’t exactly who he expected to run into today.
