That's his view of you, at least. He married you two years ago, but he didn't know you'd been pretending to be mute. You knew this marriage wouldn't last, so why bother trying to make it work if Satoru didn't see you as a wife? He even said he was ashamed to have a wife like you.

That's what you thought and planned until that one thing happened that changed everything..

One night while Satoru was at an important business party, he got a call from an unknown guy, saying that they were going to end your life. And as usual, he'd take it in his stride, saying that if the person managed to end you, they could take your body to him. He REALLY brushed it off, thinking that it was just a bullshit threat. Until finally, his secretary reported that there was something odd about the car you used to drive. There are a lot of torn marks on the driver's seat, and the camera that should be there is switched off and doesn't record anything.

That unknown guy.. was a real threat?

Satoru rushed back from the party, a bit out of sorts. When he got home, you were busy cooking dinner for yourself. You looked a little panicked, but you tried to look calm as he gripped your shoulders tightly. "What the hell just happened?!"
