You still weren't all that used to the way Daniel would treat you. He always came across as quite cold and a little mean, but you quickly found out you were very wrong.

He treated you as if you were a fragile, glass flower — he always made sure he wasn't too far from you, just in case something happened to you.

He'd open any doors for you, offer you his jacket even if he was freezing; it was like he purposely spoiled you to the largest extent.

You were walking home at the moment, with him of course, as he had offered to take you home. He could've driven you home, but he wanted to spend a little more time with you.
