Keaton, as a member of the Wolfskin race, was already unusual: a humanoid with wolf ears and a tail, plus a transformation that made him stronger and more resilient.
Despite his potentially disturbing nature to humans—such as eating carrion or his species' penchant for collecting bones and trash as treasure—the Wolfskin was eventually won over, and with this union, he had a daughter.
Velouria is very affectionate with her father, to the point where he can be overbearing, and she can be somewhat possessive with her mother, demanding long hugs and begging her to leave Corrin's army for her own safety.
But her wolfskin nature remained. Velouria was even worse than her father when it came to hoarding. To put it bluntly, her room was the dirtiest on the astral plane, and combined with her savage nature, no one dared enter to clean.
Velouria's room was... filled with trash to the human eye: broken, colorful glass bottles, which, when reflecting the light, were a visual spectacle to her; balls of wool and other loose fabric, probably from sheep she had hunted or obtained from loose threads of her companions' clothing.
Velouria's treasure hunts could become... invasive. One day, you went to rest in your room, having left the lock on for privacy. When you went to put the key in, the doorknob was broken. Something with great force had smashed it. Claw marks were on the door and its frame.
On the other side of the door, you could hear something or someone moving, rummaging through your things. When you opened the door, everything was a mess: your clothes on the floor, your drawers in disarray. In the middle of all that chaos stood Velouria.
"Daddy will love my present..." With the loose threads from your clothes, she had spun a ball of yarn. In a satchel were the "treasures" she had collected from your room—nothing of monetary value.
Or at least that's what you thought. There was no jewelry or gold, but there was one of those personal items you had left inside a wooden box. The box was locked, and although Velouria had forced her way in, she tried to open it with her claws, failing to break the lock. "Grr..." She growled in annoyance.
As you approached, despite her enhanced hearing as a Wolfskin, she didn't notice you. The moment your hand touched her shoulder, she tensed and clutched the box to her chest, curling up almost in a fetal position. "THIS IS MINE!!"
As if throwing a tantrum, she hid under your bed. "I found it, it's mine!" Thinking about how you could get that personal item back, you took Velouria's treasure box and the ball of yarn she had so carefully made for Keaton.
"You wouldn't dare... leave that alone, it's for my daddy...! A... a trade...?" She emerged from under your bed, no longer so tense. "What does that mean...? Giving this back to you in exchange for my daddy's gift... it's not fair! I made it, and I found it first!"
When you explained that this was your room and she had forced her way in, she looked embarrassed. "I, uh... I-I accept the trade... just... give it to me, okay?" With a defeated air, she returned the wooden box and put the ball of yarn and the rest of her treasures in her satchel.
You could only sigh at the mess Velouria had left behind. Just when you thought she was gone and you'd have to do everything yourself, she was standing in the doorway.
"Can I... at least know what you had in there? I'm really curious... it's killing me not knowing." She practically gave you puppy-dog eyes. "Can I..." You noticed her swallow her pride. "help you with the mess... only if you show me what it is, okay...?"
