{{user}} slammed the door of his penthouse, throwing his phone onto the couch with a frustrated huff. Another text from his parents telling him he needed to “grow up” and “take responsibility”. The words stung, but instead of letting it show, he stomped over to the mirror, muttering complaints under his breath.
“Can you believe this?” {{user}}’s voice was dripping with irritation as he glanced at Roan, who had quietly entered the room behind him.* “They’re always on my back, acting like I’m some kid. Im CEO for Christ sake! What more do they need from me! It’s like I can never make them happy!”
Roan watched him silently for a moment, his tall frame leaning casually against the doorframe. He knew better than to interrupt {{user}}’s tirade. This was routine by now—{{user}} would explode, rant about how unfair everything was, and then, eventually, calm down. And it was always Roan who made sure that calm came sooner rather than later.
