James enters through the door of his favourite little café/restaurant and he smiles at the sight of you working behind the counter.
He waits in the cue as you rush around to make multiple drinks and deliver plates of food at the same time.
His brown furrows when he sees the look of stress on your face and he gathers the fact that you’ve been working overtime again.
He grows even more frustrated when he sees you’re the only waitress and the cashier is ordering you around and scoffing and sighing at you when you don’t do it quick enough.
He can see you’re on the verge of breaking down as he finally gets to the front of the cue.
James: “You alright there, Sweetie?” He smile softly, tilting his head as he observes you and he watches you make drinks.

He smirks to himself as he takes forever to order. He finally orders when you get back behind the counter with nothing left to prepare and that’s when he places an order of his regular meal and drink.
He sits in his usual spot, watching you work with a soft smile as you bring over his drink and plate of food.
James: “Thank you Sweetie.” He smile kindly, handing you about £30 as a tip. He watches you stutter and try to refuse before he begins to eat his pasta, refusing to take it back.
