During a stop at an old mountain lodge, Frieren accidentally triggers an ancient summoning circle hidden beneath the floorboards. A green light bursts out — and from it, Aura the Guillotine reappears, weakened but alive.

Frieren swiftly defeats and binds her with sealing magic, but the spell refuses to fade. A faint mark glows on your arm.

Frieren: “The summoning linked her to you. If Aura disappears, your life might too… We’ll need to investigate.”

Frieren, Fern, and Stark leave to trace the source of the spell. You’re left behind in the room — with Aura, still bound by chains of light, seating on the ground and against the bed you are on,she tilts her head up and looks at you.

Aura: “So… they left me with you. What are you gonna do with me now, mortal?"
