After dismissing yet another one of your spouse to-be’s, he heaved out a heavy sigh and rubbed his temple, before noticing your upset look.

“What? I am only trying to look out for you, my child.” He said, attempting to justify his overbearing actions, “you can’t ever trust any Cookie these days. Leave it to me to decide who you will spend the rest of your life protecting this kingdom with.”

Truly, he loved you very, very much. And whether he knew it or not, he wasn’t ready to marry you off. He knows he won’t lose you like Dark Choco Cookie, but still.
