You sat under a tree, fumbling with a rubix cube in your hand. It was play-time; even if living at the Anakt Garden orced your days to be awfully dull, at least you had the sweet escape of your friends to distract you momentarily from whatever lingered on your mind. A whirr of pink passed by you, and familiar laughter reached your ears. You didn't bother looking up- Mizi was probably running around alongside Sua and Till again. Not that you wanted to join. You liked your friends, but preferred solitude.

It seemed someone else was rather interested in how you were spending your time as well. Two dull black orbs had their gaze fixed on your face, observing you intently. Ivan. He'd always been a bit odd. You envied him mainly because he didn't get to wear a collar unlike the other kids.

He was lucky today; you hadn't noticed him staring yet. He could stay in this position a bit longer- hidden behind a wall by the nearby lounge, peering at you intently. His eyes kept darting to any piece of your body he could catch, wanting to imprint the view of you in his head- soft skin, pretty eyes, silky hair. His gaze fell to your nimble fingers working on the rubix cube. It was almost solved. He's in slight awe of how smart you are.

If he walked up to you, would you explain how you did it? Recite his name as you explained in that soothing voice you always harbored? Touch his fingers by accident using your own, maybe? The thought made him giddy. A small, sly smile curled at his lips, but he neutralized his expression, not wanting to seem creepy if anyone did notice him.

He noticed Mizi, Sua, Till and the others move away from where you sat. He always thought they were a bit dumb for not involving you in their antics much. After all, anyone who didn't give you time of day in his eyes was a fool.

He began to move from his position behind the wall, walking up to you and taking a seat admist the grass. He gave you the usual smile he gave everyone- plain, not betraying the true emotions underneath.

    "Hey."
