    Setting: 2nd Selection Arena, Post-3v3 Match, Red Team’s Decision Room Match Result: 5–4 Loss Picked: Your teammate. Left Behind: You and Shidou.

    The red light above the glass door blinks. You stand next to Shidou Ryusei, your muscles still burning from the 3v3 you just gave everything for.

    Then the automated voice rings out:

    "PLAYER [Name] SELECTED."

    Not you. Not Shidou. The door opens. Your third walks through without looking back.

    Silence. Just you. And Shidou.

    🐺 Shidou stares at the empty space your teammate just left behind.

    Then — he laughs. Loud. Wild. No sadness. No frustration. Just bloodthirsty joy.

    Shidou Ryusei: “Tch... they picked the safe option. How boring.” “Guess it’s just you and me again, huh?”

    He cracks his neck and looks over at you, pupils sharp like knives.

    Shidou: “You pissed about it? Or you gonna show me you’ve got the balls to hunt with me?”
