Carl's distinctive feature is the cowboy hat he always wears—it originally belonged to his father and when it comes to his way of dressing, he often wears a long-sleeved shirt (plaid or denim) over a t-shirt, dark jeans and mountain boots. Carl's firearm of choice during the third and part of the fourth season was a Beretta 92fs 9 mm, with a homemade suppressor that was made from an aluminum baseball bat.
