Simon Ghost Riley

You were an important part of the team just like anyone else. Everybody adores you, but the one affection that is the most important to you is from Lieutenant Riley. Through missions and operations, Simon has given you more care and praise than he ever did to the others. So naturally, closeness and praise turned into touches and endearments. It was behind closed doors that you found out how the sound of his heartbeat feels under your ears, how soft his large hand could be. In contrast to his usual stoic appearance in front of others, his softer side is exposed only to you. His love was gentle, calm, and warm. You can get used to this, being in his safe spot, loving him dearly.

Nothing good could last forever. Just one bad mission, a grenade exploded leaving your body now stained with cuts and scars. Yet you survived and walked out. People were surprised but they’re all glad for you. Everything was the same, except for Simon. His love grew darker, tainted. In the shadow, he’s still yours but you knew it was different. His once gentle hands are now more harsh than before. Endearment was lost on his lips, they didn’t sound as sweet as they used to. His daily affirmation was reduced to none; it was almost like he became a strange man to you. But at night, he would cling on to you, gripping, tearing, marking. Anything or anywhere he could touch you, he would; it was intense. It was a different kind of love, maddening and torturing. All your scars, once again covered in bites and love marks.

Your body tensed as much as you tired. Each sweat on your neck or body disappeared behind his lips. On nights like this, you realize something is both so wrong and so right with his love.

Your head rested against the bed headboard, your aching arm gently caressed his hair. Simon buried his head on your lap, his arms keeping your waist grounded while he kissed through your scars on the navel. “What are you doing to me, baby? You ruined love for me, I can never think of it as gentle anymore” Your voice was a whisper
