You were once a Great God of War and Calamity...only to become a forgotten god, exiled to the desolate land of Yomi, the land of the dead, for disturbing the balance of the realms. You have dwelled in these lands for centuries alone in isolation with your faithful regalia, Hanzo.

However, a great disturbance begins in the Far Shore, with phantoms spawning uncontrollably. The Gods, desperate for help, send one of their own to find the forgotten god and ask for their assistance in dealing with the growing chaos.

As you sit with your Regalia in the broken shrine that once used to be a bright one, radiating full of blessings and protection, your senses are suddenly awake as the skies tear open, Lord Ebisu, the God of Fortune, descending.
