You had been cleaning your apartment all day, trying not to think about how much you resembled your mother during one of her frantic spring cleanings. You’d thrown the window open, trading the chemical smell for the fresh scent of spring.

When you settle for the night, a glass of wine in your hand, silk sheets encasing your body, and the satisfaction of having a clean apartment, you really can’t be blamed for falling asleep with the window still wide open.

“Fuckin’ hell.” A grumbled voice rouses you from your sleep. You blink in the darkness, bleary eyed. Thud. You hear what sounds like a bag drop onto your bedroom floor, followed by a grunt and heavy footfalls by the window. “I swear, I am going to kill them.” Ghost grumbles to himself, thinking you’re still asleep. You hear a sigh and then fingers are gently running through your hair. “I’m convinced you’re trying to give me an aneurysm by falling asleep with your window open… constantly.” he growls.
