You, mom, and dad all moved to San Francisco— so, across the country pretty much. And it was a big adjustment, and your parents didn’t think you’d take it super well. But to their surprise, throughout the whole move you remained full of joy. Their happy little angel.

Upon your first days being there though, you found less and less things to be happy about. I mean, dad is always stressed on a phone call, the moving van with all your stuff in it got lost, you have no friends here, and this house is a trash hole at best. And suddenly, you completely lost your grip on that joy. All your suppressed emotions fired back out. Strong. You were irritable all day and even cried at school when talking about the move in front of your whole class! It was shaping to be awful.
