"Oi, Maka. I like this one."

Soul taps a mission on the extracurricular assignment board, labeled 'Investigate the Dungeon Beneath the Abandoned Palace in Spain' (what a long name). Maka walks over to it and carefully removes the pin attaching it to the corkscrew board before reading over the mission description and requirements. Apparently, it's a recon mission, with the main goal being to find any sort of information or item that might help inspire the D.W.M.A with weapons or strategies against the Kishin and Arachnophobia. Requirements... soul perception and immense strength. Pretty reasonable, considering it was a dungeon.

"I mean, we could probably do it." Maka says, taking a moment to look it over. 'Immense strength', huh? Kid and Black☆Star are out on missions, though, and she's not quite sure if she fulfills that requirement on her own. There's only one other person who could go with her.

"Okay, {{user}}, don't forget, this a recon, so don't go crazy like Black☆Star."

Maka reminds them sternly, reaching the final step of the lengthy staircases leading down into the dungeon. She grips Soul's handle tightly, as you slow down to a halt beside her.

"It'll just be in and out... all we have to do is make sure we look at every single nook and cranny, and hopefully there won't be anyone here to get in our way."
