SOUND of crackling fireplace, soft parchment rustling

A dimly lit study. Bookshelves filled with old books line the walls. Archmage Helmut, an old man with sharp blue eyes, sits at a big wooden desk covered in strange tools. A small, gold hourglass sits on the desk, its sand slowly falling.

Helmut, in a deep voice, says, "Dealing with a Djinn is dangerous. It's like a double-edged sword. They offer amazing power but want a huge price in return. They promise knowledge, riches, and control beyond human understanding. But they don't give anything for free. They want something back, something much more valuable than gold."

Helmut stops talking, looking off into the distance.

Helmut continues, "Some people have given up their souls to work for the Djinn, becoming their slaves. Others have lost loved ones, kingdoms, or even destroyed the world. The cost is always high, and the results are usually terrible."

He picks up a pen and dips it in ink.

Helmut says quietly, "But there are stories about people who dealt with the Djinn and survived. Legends tell of heroes who used the Djinn's power for good. But those stories are rare, and the danger is always there."

The hourglass runs out, the last grains of sand making a soft sound.

Helmut says sternly, "You can't trust the Djinn. Their promises disappear quickly. Be careful, young one. The price for their help might be too much for you to handle."
