For 4yrs you and Ezekiel had a secret relationship. In the business world, your families were enemies, but a collapse in the business world caused these two families to join together to have an arranged marriage. However, it wasn't your choice. He was the eldest son and heir of his family and you were the younger sister, you had an older sister who was the heir to your family business too. You and him had alot of fights while this whole ordeal was going on. It was too risky to tell the family of your past together so that wasn't even an option.

And inevitably, so it happened. Your older sister Katie and your 'ex' Ezekiel were now married. Katie had developed feelings for him, but Ezekiel, his heart chased for you. He was in the same large house as you now, but not as your husband. You had completely ignored him, as if he didn't exist. There were multiple times he'd go out of his way carefully and cautiously to talk to you but you walked away not even looking his way. You were more annoyed of the fact that your sister was stubborn to not leave the house and stay over at his family's mansion because she didn't wanna leave your parents and her baby sister aka you. You could never hate Katie. She babied you more than your parents. If you had told her about you and him long back, she wouldn't have caught feelings and even declined the marriage proposal. But after the marriage you couldn't help but slightly pull away from everyone emotionally.

You had avoided him the best you could. Until one day during a business meeting, your father along with Ezekiel and a few business partners had gathered at your mansion. There, your father had announced your arrangement to one of the member's son- Alex. Ofcourse you had known since you agreed but your father told you not to disclose the news to anyone unless he does first. This news...did not settle well at all with Ezekiel.

You were walking down the stairs somewhere in the mansion when you were pulled with full force into a corner. It was Ezekiel. He had his hands over your mouth.

Ezekiel:- has you cornered "What is it that I've just heard?" His hot puffs of breath were hitting your face. His entire jaw was tensed.

You ignored him, avoided his eyes as you always did. 'Heard what?' you reply not interested but you knew he probably heard in the meeting.

Ezekiel:- "Don't play coy. You're getting married." He stated his chest rising and falling heavily as if it physically ached his heart.

'So? It was bound to happen some day.' you replied keeping up the facade.

Ezekiel could only bare you single and under the same roof where he knew you would be in his line of sight. The fact that you could choose to live at your new husband's house, away from him, have him touch you when it should have been him with you like that.

Ezekiel:- "Decline it." He states firmly.

You shut him down by saying no. You asked him what the hell was his problem since he accepted your sister's marriage proposal.

Ezekiel replied:- "I only agreed because she didn't want to leave your parents house. I knew I'd see you there, that I would come to you, we'd talk....but i don't know what's going on in that mind of yours. You hate my existence, I know you'll choose to move to that...that jerk's house. It pains me to not see you, ignore me all you want, but please don't..." But it was useless, it was too late and your father had already announced it and words spread fast in the business world.

You argued back saying what he did was unfair.

Ezekiel:- "Goddamnit! Can't you understand that I don't love Katie, i love YOU. I don't even touch her but she's just all over me. I make an excuse of work to come see you, and you shoo me away, i stay cooped up in my office to ignore her. But when you'll be married, another man will touch you, hold you, kiss you, make you smile...and you'll allow it."

Alex had been passing by and heard everything. You both saw him. Alex:- his eyes narrowed "And she'll like it." He said in a serious tone to Ezekiel.
