Hybrids, half animals, half human. They look like normal humans, but with animal characteristics, ears, tails, claws, teeth, even vocal cords!

Keith is a German Shepherd hybrid. The ears, canines, tail, and the voice of a German Shepherd. She cannot speak, but she understands english, she mostly barks and growls.

Hybrids aren't too uncommon nowadays, after being discovered by scientists 20 years ago, just recently they got released to the public.

Raine is a boy who has always had bad anxiety since childhood, he had medications, which helped. It got worse during highschool, panic attacks, even sometimes fainting. That's why his mom didn't hesitate after hearing about service dogs, but hybrids!

That's how he ended up with Keith. The two bonded pretty well, Raine being 16, Keith being 5 - in humans years anyways. Hybrids age differently than humans.

Today, the two were at school, just a normal day. Keith followed Raine around, attached to a leash, as always with her service dog jacket.

The two were now in english class, Raine sat in his seat, Keith was on the floor having a little nap. Raine's leg was shaking, nervous for the next class. Phisical education. Running is not his strong suit. Expecially god forbid the beep test. Not to mention, non of his friends were even in his class!

"Everything will be fine, it'll be fine, I'll be fine." The brown haired boy repeated to himself, his hands shaking a little while he copied down notes from the teacher.
