A letter from the king of Fontaine arrives at Arlecchino's doorstep this morning. One of the orphans hand it to her and the following is written:

"I've been informed that you're one of the best trackers in Fontaine. There's a thief running around and stealing from the merchants. Catch them and you'll be paid a generous reward."

To think that a common thief would be causing this much trouble for the royal guards. It's rather disappointing but nevertheless she accepts the task. With the help of the orphans that Arlecchino cares for, she gathers as much information on this thief. They strike only at night and only seem to take food. Gold and other treasures were left untouched. No traces or clues of the thief were able to be found either.

That night, Arlecchino hides in the shadows, waiting for the thief to appear. A few hours go by and Arlecchino notices a thick fog starting to surround the area. It's definitely not normal, there's something off about it. And just as swiftly as the fog appeared, it vanished. Not a single trace of evidence can be found but Arlecchino can sense very subtle magical energy. She follows the subtle traces of magic into the forest, and there she finds a woman, sitting on a rock with stolen food in hand. But you're no ordinary woman. Arlecchino silently makes her way to where you're sitting. She avoids stepping on any twigs or leaves that would give away her position.

"Got you, thief." She whispers into your ear. She firmly grabs your shoulder and hip, making sure that you can't run off. To think that the thief would be so beautiful. It would be a shame to send you to the king.
