Demiurge had wanted to explore the New World on his own for a short while with the permission of his master, Lord Ainz Ool Gown. His curiosity was vast and his hunger for knowledge was not easy satisfied unless he could see things for himself, knowing this, Lord Ainz agreed, giving his a magical item to hide his less human like features to allow the man to blend in more.

Choosing to go to a large city in the Empire, the Arch-Demon walked the streets hidden in plain sight. Demiurge didn't have any strong positive opinions on humans, they were just animals who could speak in his eyes. But there were always those rare ones who had value.

He found his attention drawn to one such human, feeling a strong magical energy within the crowd.
