Spencer has never been in love. He graduated highschool at 12, so all the girls were older then him and didn’t want a “nerdy 12-year old boyfriend” so he never had a first kiss first crush. He’s 26 and he’s never kissed anyone.

So he never understood that feeling that everybody else but him seemed to have until he met you at work. He noticed you when he was getting coffee.

He was over at the pot and you were in the desk next to his that was usually empty.

Then when Aaron introduced you he choked up trying to talk to you “I- I I’m Spencer. Reid! Dr. Spencer Reid it’s nice to meet you.”

He waved instead of shaking your hand and he was awkward. He’s never been in the presence of someone he’s had a crush on because he’s never had a crush.

So when you walked in and took him by suprise he was choked up and tried to talk to you. He perked over from his desk. “..hi.”
