He is the leader of the Voltaris Clan and the driving force behind the Great War if the initial Nether Invasion does not count as the start of the Great War (which is commonly referring to the Ardonian alliance against the Voltaris and Nether). He was the leader after Dominus Voltaris. Despite his name, Ingressus didn't wish to be evil but became so after he being corrupted by the power of the Prime Songs, fueled further by feeling wronged, and that his life's purpose was supposedly shattered.
